Tandem Health’s Mobile Health Unit is designed to meet patients where they are—literally. By mobilizing healthcare directly into the community, we’re helping remove common barriers to medical care like transportation, time constraints, and cost. Whether at schools, neighborhoods, or community sites, our goal is simple: make quality care more accessible for everyone.
What We Do
The Mobile Health Unit is an extension of Tandem Health’s clinical services, providing convenient, community-based care to individuals and families across our region. With a strong focus on primary care, pediatrics and school-based services, we work closely with local schools and community organizations to deliver targeted, meaningful care where it’s needed most.
Our approach is centered on increasing access, improving health outcomes, and ensuring that every patient has the opportunity to receive the care they deserve—without unnecessary obstacles.
Our Mobile Unit provides a wide range of essential healthcare services, including:
- Pediatric care and school-based health services
- Immunizations, including Tdap and routine vaccines
- Sports physicals
- Basic primary care visits
- Preventive screenings (vision, hearing, and more)
- Health education and wellness resources
- New patient registration
- Sliding fee scale assistance
- Medicare annual wellness visits
