About Dr. Kapoor:
- Ishita Kapoor, DMD, provides comprehensive general dentistry with a focus on creating a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient. A lifelong South Carolina resident, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She provides preventive services, fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures, partial dentures, and root canal therapy.
- Her passion for dentistry started early. Getting braces could have been an intimidating experience, but thanks to a caring dentist and orthodontist, it became a turning point. That experience stayed with her and continues to shape how she cares for her own patients today: with patience, warmth, and a genuine desire to understand their needs.
- Dr. Kapoor believes that great care begins with listening. She takes the time to understand her patients’ concerns, answer their questions, and help them stay informed throughout their visits. She is particularly passionate about helping patients who experience dental anxiety, creating a calming environment where they can receive care at their own pace.
- Outside the office, you will find her trying out a new recipe, staying active, or spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and becoming part of the Sumter community, one smile at a time.
