Tandem Health Wins Personal and Professional Achievement State Award

Tandem Health would like to congratulate Joyce Bair, Tandem Health's Director of Risk Management and Quality Assurance, on receiving the Personal and Professional Achievement Award at the 2024 South Carolina Primary Health Care Association's (SCPHCA) Annual SEA Retreat this weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC. The SCPHCA is the unifying organization for Community Health Centers (CHCs) in South Carolina. Tandem Health is one of 23 CHCs in South Carolina.

The Personal and Professional Achievement Award recognizes an employee that goes above and beyond towards the success of the organization. This individual consistently demonstrates exemplary and noteworthy performance and must have accomplished notable personal and/or professional achievements and completion of long-term person/professional training.

“Joyce joined the Tandem Health team in 2014 as a Patient Service Representative. Since joining Tandem Health, she has held numerous positions ranging from Patient Account Representative, Biller, Financial Coordinator, and Quality & Compliance Audit Coordinator. During her various roles, she has always exhibited a hunger for learning coupled with the desire to support our clinical and administrative staff to enhance the patient experience,” said Marion Richardson, Tandem Health’s Corporate Compliance Officer.

“In 2020, Joyce was promoted to her current position as the Director of Risk Management and Quality Assurance. During her time in this position, she has proven herself as a leader in many areas of the organization. From her beginnings at the front desk of Tandem Health’s Pinewood Office to her current position, Joyce has come to be known as the “go to” person,” continued Richardson. “She has grown exponentially during her tenure with Tandem Health, which is a testament to her ability to lead and use her knowledge to bring positive change to the organization.”

“In addition to her many professional achievements, Joyce recently earned her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. This has been a personal goal for Joyce, and even when professional demands required more than a 40-hour work week, she remained diligent and committed to accomplishing this goal,” Richardson continued.

Congratulations to Joyce and thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
