About Dr. Youssef:

• Dr. Christian Youssef, DO, is a dedicated Family Medicine Resident who recently graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Now embarking on a new journey in Sumter, he is ready to explore the town and discover new hiking trails.
• He is one of the family medicine residents with the Family Medicine Residency program. This program is a collaborative partnership between Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, the USC School of Medicine and Tandem Health.
• Once considering a career in engineering, Dr. Youssef ultimately found his true passion in medicine, which allows him to connect with people and make a meaningful difference in their lives. His favorite color, black, represents versatility and the ability to cover mistakes—a metaphor that aligns with his patient care philosophy, where adaptability and attentiveness are key.
• Outside of medicine, Dr. Youssef has a deep love for travel. If not in medicine, he imagines himself as a travel blogger, sharing his experiences and insights from around the globe.
• Throughout his career, Dr. Youssef aspires to be remembered as someone who dedicated himself to improving the well-being of others, leaving a lasting positive impact through compassionate care and service.
