Tandem Health welcomes Mervina George, MD, one of the new Family Medicine Residents, to the team.

Mervina George, MD, is a dedicated Family Medicine Resident, proudly graduating from the American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine. Raised in Dominica, her early fascination with medicine and healthcare fueled a drive for academic excellence and deepened her commitment to learning.

She is one of the family medicine residents with the Family Medicine Residency program. This program is a collaborative partnership between Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, the USC School of Medicine and Tandem Health.

Beyond medicine, Dr. George has a passion for music and entertaining. She treasures sentimental items like notes from friends and plane tickets, holding onto her first plane ticket from her inaugural visit to America as a cherished memento.
