Tandem Health received the 2021 South Carolina Primary Health Care Association's (SCPHCA) Contraceptive Champions Award at the 27th Annual SCPHCA Virtual Clinical Network Retreat.

The South Carolina Primary Health Care Association (SCPHCA) is the unifying organization for Community Health Centers (CHCs) in South Carolina. Tandem Health is one of 22 CHCs in South Carolina. The award is given to recognize the exemplary efforts of a team in a community based health care setting who has demonstrated a commitment to patient centered care through innovative practice transformation efforts. A team who also has demonstrated a level of excellence in enhancing a community health center’s practice transformation efforts through the implementation/redesign/creation of a patient-centered healthcare program/initiative/service.
