Congratulations to Ashley McCoy, RN, the Pediatric Clinical Manager at Tandem Health Pediatrics, on receiving the 2021 South Carolina Primary Health Care Association's (SCPHCA) Nurse of the Year Award. She was presented with the award at the 27th Annual SCPHCA Virtual Clinical Network Retreat. 

The South Carolina Primary Health Care Association (SCPHCA) is the unifying organization for Community Health Centers (CHCs) in South Carolina. Tandem Health is one of 22 CHCs in South Carolina. The award is given to recognize an outstanding nurse in the state who has demonstrated excellence in practice in a community-based health care setting. The nurse must have demonstrated a level of excellence in their nursing role that sets them apart in a distinctive manner.

“Ashley is an integral part of the Tandem Health Team,” said Allison Shuler, Vice President of Clinical Operations at Tandem Health. “She is truly an advocate for our pediatric patients and their families and always has their best interest at heart.”
