Tandem Health remains committed to the health and well-being of our Sumter community. Tandem Health is able to offer our patients a remote virtual visit if you are unable to come to the center. When you arrive at any of our centers, everyone entering the building will go through a screening checkpoint including a temperature check.

ALL patients, visitors and staff are required to wear a mask at all times. Visits are limited to the patients only with a very few exceptions – only one person allowed with a pediatric patient or an adult who requires assistance.

We encourage everyone to:  * Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds   * Wear a mask in public   * Practice social distancing   * Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth   * Cough in a tissue and throw the tissue away   * Clean and disinfect frequently   * Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.

About Phuong

  • Phuong graduated medical school from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) Carolinas in Spartanburg. She is one of the family medicine residents with the new Family Medicine Residency program. This program is a collaboration between Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, the USC School of Medicine and Tandem Health.
  • Had she not gone into medicine she would have gone into clinical research.
  • In her spare time, she enjoys taking her dogs to the dog park, watching Netflix, cooking Vietnamese food and exercising.
